Leather Cover?

I bought this product and I treasure it dearly, but are you sure it's actually leather? I know my bible and book bindings very well, and I'm as sure as I can be this isn't leather. That's not to say it isn't great and lovely; it's just not leather, it's that gorgeous new soft and buttery artificial leather that's on lots of books and bibles now. Can you please confirm this?

The Bible is bonded leather which is real leather. Multiple pieces of leather are bonded together to make the cover.
