Ages: Kindergarten to Grade 6

The Rizers' mission is simple - to instill in kids a love for Jesus Christ and His Word through Scripture memory, praise and worship. The name 'The Rizers' is short for memorizers and they love to play scripture verses in upbeat, kid-friendly ways. Tour God's Word with The Rizers uses the gospels for daily Bible Tour lessons. Kids memorize Old and New Testament verses set to memorable Scripture songs. The week will also include large and small group times & "mini concerts" for parents! All of this and more for a Heartful of God's Word!

Daily Themes (Memory Verse / Bible Lesson):
Day 1: Heartful of Trust (Proverbs 3:5-6 / Peter & the net full of fish)
Day 2: Heartful of Thanks (Psalm 136:2-4 / Jesus heals the lepers)
Day 3: Heartful of Love (John 3:16 / The lost sheep)
Day 4: Heartful of Prayer (Luke 11:9-10 / Bartimaeus asks Jesus for healing)
Day 5: Heartful of Praise (2 Peter 3:18 / Jesus talks about living water)

*Note* This VBS is a good consideration for churches with small budgets that don't want to sacrifice content, particularly in the Bible content and music. The snack suggestions are simple - popcorn or porpcorn balls; goldfish crackers, etc.- and some days literally encourage you to select whatever snack you want. Most craft suggestions include commonly found supplies in children's ministry (foam shapes, glitter, toilet paper rolls, rocks); the days that may require purchase of unique craft items focus on themes for which you can easily find substitute craft ideas (i.e. prayer or praise). There are no craft kits recommended for purchase.
