    Are there grade levels to Prima Latina?

    We have been trying to find a good Latin curriculum for my son with no luck. Prima Latina looks to have some promise. My son will be entereing the 5th grade next year. What Prima Latina books would I need to purchase for a 5th grader with 2 years of Latin under his belt?

    Prima Latina is intended for grades K-3. Latina Christiana 1 would be the appropriate level for a 5th grade student.

    I am interested in teaching this to my students, but don't want to purchase the dvds unless they are necessary.

    This kit includes all the basic materials needed to teach the course. The DVDs are a great supplement, but not necessary for successful completion of the program.
