Purpose of this CD?

Does this cd verbalize the teacher's part of each lesson? Would it be a suitable replacement for the teacher while the student works independently?---referring to struggling readers using it as a refresher course to fill in the gaps. Thanks.

No, this CD is not a replacement for the teacher. The CD provides correct pronunciation of sounds of the English language, as well as rhymes and songs to put the sounds in context.
