Gospel Remission by Jeremiah Burroughs contains a series of sermons preached by Burroughs immediately after finishing his masterpiece on sin known as The Evil of Evils. This sensitive pastor know that after hearing of the deadly nature of sin, his congregation would be ready to hear about the remission of sins offered in the gospel.

He begins with an exposition of Psalm 32:1, "Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven." Burroughs points out the dishonor done to God by not resting on this mercy and also gives the evidences of remission.
