This volume contains letters 28 through 54 of St. Cyprian of Carthage. Written circa 251 A.D., these letters reveal the nature of many of the events of the Roman Empire and the developing church in the West and East. The letters are followed by extensive notes that help elucidate the meaning of St. Cyprian's writings. The translation is by G. W. Clarke, Professor of Classical Studies at Australian National University.
