Side By Side contains nine 45 to 60-minute complete classroom sessions that focus on specific topics and themes such as Ash Wednesday, Advent, Pentecost, and so on. In addition, nine more topics, including baptism, communion, prayer, and worship education, allow teachers and leaders to create their own unique learning experiences for families from a variety of ideas and activities that are provided by the author. Each session features a learning focus, scripture text, and theme related activities and projects, that allow parents and children to actively practice what they are learning.
