should i buy a mat

i'm thinking of getting this and im wondering if i need to get a mat for this, i would be doing this on carpet so im not sure.

you do not spend alot of time on the floor so I use my carpet. I considered a mat but have not found it necessary.

Carpet is fine, however if you are in need of somethng to keep your feet from sliding, then I would recommend a mat.

Although a mat is not required, it does help with placement, centering and comfort.
