This collection of The Lord of the Rings will sit perfectly on any bookshelf. Slipcased in a sturdy, attractive box with eye of Sauron emblem, this collection includes The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Fellowship of the Ring.

The Lord of the Rings maintains the breaks between the 3-volume set, as well as Tolkien's division of the text into six "books;" page numbers follow the "books" as if they were in one volume, not three. Softcovers. Index and appendices included in The Return of the King.

This text contains all revisions and corrections, and is based on the 1965/66 edition published by Houghton Mifflin.
