Would the DVD for "When a Woman Says Yes to God" work as a stand-alone weekend retreat study?

I plan a fall weekend retreat each year for a small group of women in our church and try to find a six-session study to use. Just wondering if the book is a necessity for the women to have for this DVD.

I would have an interactive workbook for each person because it has a personal study section in each chapter that is excellent. The book itself is something they might want to read after they get home , but I don't think it's vital to have it for each person during the retreat.

The book is not necessary for the study, but is recommended since it "provides even deeper insights that will make the journey richer adn more meaningful". The workbook that accompanies the DVD is strongly recommended since it contains questions for personal application and small group participation.
