In the latest Elm Creek Quilts novel, newlyweds Elizabeth and Henry Nelson embark on a journey from Pennsylvania to California to their new home, Triumph Ranch. Upon reaching the ranch, however, they find that they have been tricked out of their property and are left penniless and a forced to work on the ranch that they thought they had owned. As Henry struggles with his pride, Elizabeth struggles to understand her new husband's feelings and make their marriage work.
