Fleeing from an abusive father, Huckleberry Finn joins up with a runaway slave and together the two fugitives float down the Mississippi River. Encountering trouble at every turn and conflicts between societal expectations and their own inclinations and experiences, Huckleberry Finn is considered by many to be the American Novel.
