This bible doesn not have red print for Christ's words - that is the only downfall I see. But for the price, the large print, single column style and attractiveness of the cover this is still a good buy!

Question

Paper thickness/text bleed-through

I need to know if the paper is thicker/thinner/partially transparent. Some bibles have thin, fragile pages where the text ink bleeds through or is shadowy from the other side. I must have one that has thicker pages without any text bleed-through.

The is a little shadow from the back side of the page. I highlighted some of the scriptures and it was slightly highlighted on the reverse side but ink did not bleed thru to the other side.

This Bible does have fairly thin pages; while the text is clear and easy to see, it is possible to see text through the pages.

Question

Does this Bible lay open?

When this Bible is on a table or in your lap and it is open...does it lay open or do you have to hold it open? I think sometimes that is referred to as "laying flat".
