Continuing from Chains, this story follows Curzon and Isabel after they're escape from New York. In the few months that passed their escape, Isabel has run away from Curzon to find her sister and Curzon enlists with the Patriot army, serving in the Battle of Saratoga and the winter encampment at Valley Forge.

Everything changes one day when Bellingham, Curzon's former master, arrives at camp and claims Curzon back as his one. Now being forced to serve Bellingham, he finds Isabel-who was also caught and sold back to Bellingham. Will these two ever learn to get along? And will they manage to escape from bondage once more? 297 pages, hardcover.
