Being dramatizations, they are not simply reading the book the way audio books would. They are like the Orson Welles radio dramas from decades past. That being said, I have both the Narnia dramas and this Christmas Carol drama. I would say they are pretty close to unabridged. Without question, they are immensely faithful to the books. They don't take the kinds of artistic license that would make literary purists unhappy.

I believe they are unabridged. We have several,and I have read the books and haven't noticed anything missing.
