They make a lot more sense in chronological order, but you can listen them as "standalone" stories and enjoy them.

Each set of CD's is its own individual story, though when you put them together there is better understanding of the progression of Father's Gilbert's life story.

I have all the individual Father Gilbert mysteries and there are 9 total. I think this is the entire collection.
