answer 1
The only "magic" I know of, if this even counts- it is mentioned that Paragor controls the weather on the Grimwalk. Unicorns and dragon are ridden but are not magical. They behave just like normal animals. There are no spells, witches, wizards, or fairies. The Christian allegory is obvious and the main character learns many good lessons about sacrifice, bravery, and humility.

answer 3
There is no magic whatsoever in this novel. All power referred to belongs to the Christ/God-figure, King Eliam. Wayne Thomas Batson is a strong believer.

Well I only read the first book and so not sure about the rest. However, the book is make believe and it does take some imagination. There is good and evil. Nothing I would consider occult. The good could be construed as magic but I think more on the lines of miracles. No sex and no bad language.
