Product Description

Hallelu Et Adonai is the Hebrew phrase for "Praise the Lord". International Messianic recording artist Ted Pearce, brings the listener back to the ancient Hebrew roots of Praise & Worship, with soothing vocals and raw unplugged acoustics.
Ted Pearce is joined on this CD by German worship band Be'er Sheva, from TOS Ministries in Tubingen. "The songs of Be'er Sheva reflect their heart for Israel and their love for Adonai. Their international ministry has taken an unparalleled stand against the rising tide of Anti-Semitism in Europe", says Yochanan Ben Yehuda, President, Galilee of the Nations Music.
This International blend of worship music in the Hebrew & English languages will encourage you to pray for Israel while taking you to the feet of Yeshua (Jesus), the Holy One of Israel.

Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  I'm from a little town known for racism called Vidor Texas. Played rock and roll most of my life and met the Lord in 1990. From then on, it's much too long a story...

Invite me to your congregation and I'll tell the rest :-)

What was your motivation behind this project?  I had been traveling solo for a while and these were all songs that I could play as a solo guitarist/vocalist. Every song is a very basic arrangement of simple-to-play parts that any acoustic worship team should be able to pull off. Some songs use simple scripture phrases which are said in the original language of the Bible...Hebrew! The listener should be able to experience something of Yeshua's cultural background as you listen to "Mimizrach" or "Yisrael" With the accompanying songbook, this will be a perfect "starter pack" for congregations large and small to be playing a messianic-styled music instantly.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope to put the Word of God in the mouths of people everywhere and put the worship of Adon Yeshua in the hearts of everyone.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  This project was done in 2 parts, the first one in 2005 and the next one in 2008. In the meantime I met the saints at TOS church in Tuebingen Germany I am proud to have the opportunity to introduce the music team of this church to the rest of the world.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  All my musical heroes write Messianic worship music; Joel Chernoff, Barry & Batya Segal, Karen Davis, Marty Goetz, Paul Wilbur, Jonathan Settel, Sue Samuel, Aviad Cohen, Chuck King, Billy Whitten, Kol Simcha, Liberated Wailing Wall, Zemer Levav, Rachael and Duece Washington, etc, etc, etc...

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I love the name of Jesus Christ...but I refer to Him as "Yeshua" because that is what his mother would have called him and it is a word still in use today in the Hebrew language which means salvation (present tense) or put a better way; "Salvation NOW" I have a website and a myspace page if you're interested in keeping up with my crazy tour schedule...
