After being handed an ambitious summer reading list by their father Gregg Harris at the age of 16, Alex and Brett Harris, twin brothers of Joshua Harris (author, I Kissed Dating Goodbye) begin looking at the roles of American teenagers compared to the roles of other teens around the world. What they found was that their peers were using their teen years as a vacation from responsibility while teens around the world were preparing for life. Desiring to get the word out for young people to challenge themselves and embrace the calling God has on their lives, Alex and Brett started a blog called The Rebelution, wrote a book called Do Hard Things, and began speaking to young people around the country on how to make their teen years really count for Christ.
